Holiday Stables - Feature trail rides through miles of beautiful woods and fields, and regularly scheduled hayrides in the summer usually beginning June 15th. Holiday riding stables are located just

Wisconsin River Cruises: Enjoy a relaxing cruise down the beautiful Wisconsin River aboard the Wilderness Queen. Whether you're enjoying the fabulous food on our sunset dinner cruise, celebrating a special event, or just relaxing on a sightseeing cruise to enjoy the wildlife, you will have an unforgettable experience. Our friendly staff will serve you with the utmost of attention and you will learn many interesting details about the Wisconsin River from our knowledgeable captains. Rhinelander Logging & School Museum - One of Rhinelander's main attractions with displays of century old logging memorabilia, a blacksmith shop, cook shanty and bunkhouse, narrow gauge steam engine, and much more. Bring the kids and come to the logging museum to see how the name 'lumberjack' came about. The museum is the oldest and most authentic museum in the Midwest. A great way to start your Northwood's vacation. Admission is free, however donations are welcomed.

Experience the Long Lake Nature Trail for a refreshing walk that will take you away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Northern Lights Playhouse - Northern Lights Playhouse - located 10 miles south of Minocqua on Hwy 51 in Hazelhurst. The Playhouse is an indoor theater presenting entertaining musicals, sidesplitting comedies and a children's theater. The resident company is comprised of professional actors from across the country.  Shows in the summer run with a different show each day. Matinee and evening performances are available.  A fall season also runs through September. Pinewood Country Club - Located in Harshaw, Pinewood Country Club is an 18 hole public golf facility on 600 beautiful acres of the most scenic land in the Northwoods. The golf course was built in 1962 by Al and Marie Bromann, Jr. Today it is still a family owned and managed business, with the third generation now owning the golf course, Chip and Jayne Bromann.

George W. Brown, Jr. Ojibwe Museum and Cultural Center - offers visitor tours, videos and beautiful
dioramas depicting the four seasons of Ojibwe's life as it has been lived here for centuries.

Rouman Cinema - a six screen movie theater located on Lincoln Street in Rhinelander opened February 2000.  The unique design and motif of the complex is one of a Northwoods flavor, complete with log and stone interior, floor to ceiling themed artwork and other regional distinctions.  The theater is a area landmark and showpiece, as well as the model for exhibition excellence in Northern Wisconsin.
