yours a day to remember.

Holiday Acres will be happy to assist you with the wedding ceremony, reception, and dinner. We can provide lodging for you and your guests, and even a
place to gather for the gift opening.

The Gallery banquet room will accommodate up to 180 guests
with standard banquet tables or 160 guests with round tables.
Our beautiful Three Coins Dining Room is available for
rehearsal dinners or Sunday breakfast.

                                           On Site Wedding Ceremonies
Holiday Acres is the perfect location to hold your wedding. Several picturesque settings are available on the property for your ceremony. Holiday Acres' staff will set-up white lawn chairs at the wedding site. A set-up charge will be applied for on-site ceremonies.
In case of inclement weather, an indoor location will be held in reserve,
based on availability. (Patio Room, Gallery, or Three Coins Dining Room)

Outdoor Receptions/Tent Weddings
Holiday Acres will host an outdoor tent wedding in the meadow next to the main Field House. The Bride & Groom are responsible for renting and coordinating the tent set up. Depending on the number of guests, additional tables and chairs may also have to be rented from a rental company. (Holiday Acres has tables and chairs available for 150 people.) Lighting and a dance floor are also the responsibility of the Bride & Groom.

The set-up charge for an outdoor tent wedding is based on the size of the wedding, menu, and arrangements.

                                         Confirming Deposit – Payment Policies
A non-refundable, non-transferable down payment is required to hold the date of your choice. Deposit is due at time of booking. Thirty days prior to the event, an additional payment must be made on the account.

All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance of payment is due at check out or completion of function.

The down payment amount will be applied to your final bill. Accepted payment types are: Cash, Personal Check or Credit Card.

A valid credit card number must be on file at the time of the booking.

State law does not allow alcohol to be brought in that is not purchased from our licensed facility. If guest are staying at the resort, they may have their own beverages in their room or cottage, but cannot bring them into the public banquet facilities on the resort.

Guest Count Guarantees
A guest count is due one week prior to your date. Guest counts can be adjusted within 10% of the guest count given two days prior to the date. The Bride and Groom will be charged the number of dinners based on the final count given two days before.

All packages have a wide variety of menus to choose from.
If you have a specific menu you would like, Chef Christine and Chef Eric will be happy to work with you on your choice.

We do not carry inventory of kegs of beer. We will order kegs based on your order. The bartender will check with the host prior to tapping another keg if the keg runs out close to the end of the party.

There is no charge to set-up the bar in the Gallery banquet room. We do request a minimum in bar sales. We reserve the right to choose either the main Lounge or the banquet bar if both are not needed as the night progresses.

**Please note: Wisconsin beverage Laws require all alcoholic beverages served outside a guest room must be purchased under our liquor license- privately purchased beverages may not be served or consumed in any public areas.

We reserve the right to confiscate an outside alcoholic beverages brought in and to decline service of alcohol for the safety of our guests. If your party does not cooperate with this policy, we reserve the right to add an additional corkage fee to the event bill. Please inform your guests of this requirement.

Decorating

The Gallery banquet room transforms itself with your decorating ideas. Please do not use nails/tacks in the walls. Items may be hung from the ceiling with string or wire (no tape). All decorations must be removed by the wedding party. No confetti of any type allowed for the ceremony or banquet room. (An additional cleaning charge will apply if confetti is used.) Decorating time will be scheduled based on the availability of the room, we cannot guarantee the night before for decorating.

Music

All music will be arranged for by the bridal couple. The band or disc jockey must bring their own tables, electrical cords and other necessary equipment. A truck cannot be backed up to the lodge doors; therefore, the musicians must be prepared to carry their own equipment without assistance from the resort staff. All music is to end by midnight in the main lodge. Tent wedding music to end at 11:15 due to resort and neighborhood quiet hours.

                                                                Rehearsal Dinners

Holiday Acres offers several options for Rehearsal Dinners for any Bride and Groom. The famous Holiday Acres Friday night buffet is a favorite and available year round. Other options include an outdoor Cookout (weather dependent) with several menu choices and pricing for every budget. Guests may be served in the Three Coins Dining Room. The Gallery Banquet Room, or the Patio Room are available for private parties at no additional cost. You may also choose a limited dinner menu ordered by your guests that night.

Sunday Brunch or Northwood’s Country Breakfast

Gather for Sunday morning breakfast in the Three Coins Dining Room. A Sunday brunch is available from May through October. Includes made-to-order omelets, carved Wisconsin Ham, a variety of hot entrees, cheese blintzes, fresh fruit, peel n eat shrimp, homemade salads, and a bountiful array of desserts, plus much more.

The Sunday Breakfast in the Country is served family style on Sundays from October through mid-March. It includes: Scrambled eggs, bacon & pork sausage links, buttermilk pancakes, breakfast potatoes, sausage gravy with house-made biscuits, and a sweet pastry.

Children’s pricing is available for both breakfasts.

Room Block Information for Guest Lodging

Holiday Acres has 28 guest rooms in our main lodge building and we invite you and your guests to stay with us and enjoy all the resort amenities. Guest rooms have cable TV, free wireless internet, telephone, air-conditioning, valet coffee, irons, and ironing boards, and microwaves/refrigerators. Rooms have a king or queen beds and some have whirlpool tubs or gas fireplaces. Many rooms have a view of the lake and pets are allowed in pet-designated rooms. All of the guest rooms are non-smoking. Holiday Acres also has 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom fireplace cottages, a 5-bedroom vacation home and a 6-bedroom vacation home. Please visit our website, www.holidayacres.com, to view these cozy cottages and homes. Some restrictions apply for booking cottages.

As an incentive for the bride and groom to encourage their guests to stay with us, we offer (with a ten room minimum) a 10% credit to the bride and groom for each room night that is booked. We require a two-night minimum stay. Rooms must be booked by phone with our reservation desk. Those made on line are not eligible for the 10% credit. Twenty-one days before, if there are Guest Rooms available, the two night minimum will be waived. If existing reservation is changed from two to one night, the deposit may be forfeited for the cancelled night. Your guests must pay a one night deposit on the room at the time their reservation is made. Please have your guests mention the room block name when making reservations. Our cancellation policy will be explained to the guest when their reservation is made. The location of guest rooms reserved within your party cannot be guaranteed, however, please know that we will do all we can to honor your requests. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 am for Guest Lodge rooms.

Thirty days prior to your wedding, any room not reserved in your block will be released (Sixty days in the summer months.) If you choose to keep some rooms open in your block, the non-refundable deposit for these rooms must be paid by the Bride and Groom. If your guests reserve these rooms, they would pay the deposit and you would receive the deposit money back for these rooms.

A minimum of 10 rooms/cottages is required to be eligible for this credit. The room rate for your guests will be the published rate based on the lodging rate schedule.
Reservations must be made direct with Holiday Acres Front Desk. Reservations made through on-line travel sites do not qualify.

The earned room credit will be given to the bride and groom after all rooms have been paid, usually upon check-out. This credit may be used by the bride and groom towards their lodging, their wedding food and beverage, or with a Holiday Acres gift certificate to be used for future lodging or in the Three Coins Dining room.
