Our indoor pool is the perfect place to spend a rainy day! The heated pool has a deep end for the avid swimmer as well as a shallow end for toddlers and beginners. The pool area also features a full-size cedar sauna and access to the outdoor patio. The Patio Cafe is located next to the pool, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after taking a swim.

OUTDOOR SPORTS
Enjoy a day of family fun playing a game of bean bags or improve your tennis on one of the two regulation tennis courts. Holiday Acres has a sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, a basketball court, and our recently added Pickleball court! Looking for a challenge? Try finding a partner and going for a spin on a tandem bike or just take a relaxing ride on a standard bike, both available for rent.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Holiday Acres has over 11 miles of trails groomed and marked for ski touring on our 1,000-acre complex. Skis are available for rent at the front desk if needed. There are many great trails in the area as well.

ICE FISHING

SNOWMOBILING
Rhinelander's original Hodag Sno-Trails cover over 120 miles of scenic and adventurous landscapes. The "Hodags" own and operate two diesel-powered 1800 LMC groomers and two John Deere tractors to keep the trails around Rhinelander running unbelievably smooth. These groomed trails link Rhinelander, the hub of snowmobiling, with the following areas: Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, St. Germain, Eagle River, Three Lakes, Crandon, and Pelican Lake to Antigo. Need to fill up? We also carry unleaded gasoline for snowmobiles.
Lake Thompson provides the ice fishing enthusiast with 400 acres of prime fishing for walleye, northern pike, perch, and panfish.

SNOW-SHOEING
Whether you are an avid snowshoer or you just enjoy taking in the beauty of the Northwoods, we have a dedicated one-mile snowshoe trail right here at Holiday Acres! Snowshoes are available for rent at the front desk.
